Fruit and Veg

since our 4/5 class didn’t really have much of an idea what to do in our next art classes, the cwa (country women ossociation) was doing something with fruit and veggies so they wanted us to paint pictures of fruit and vegies. our first step was we had to look at paintings painted by famous artists. the second step was we had to get a foam block and a pencil, with the pencil we had to draw a picture of fruti and vegies, we had to leave a space so we could add some more detail after the first print was done. we used the three primary colours yellow, red and blue and that was the order we printed them in. when we finished printing them we glued them onto black paper and ms. murch our i.c.t teacher took a photo of them and then we put them on our blogs this is what mine turned out like! i hope you like it! please leave a comment! thanks!

Moyne Idol!

Moyne Idol is a talent show kinda thing, where you go up on the stage by yourself or with other people and show the judges your talent. on the 1st of august a small group of us participated in moyne Idol. me, James, Nick and luke demonstrated basic skipping tricks that you can do with a group and by yourself. At the end James, Nick and Luke were skipping on the side and i fliiped through the middle.

I think that we did pretty good and i think that the judges were pretty impressed!

no i have never gone water skiing but my cousins have. I would like to try it one day though.

My Favourite Holiday!

My favourite holiday would have to be when i went to newzeland to visit my dads side of the family. We went to a lake nearly every day. We took the doughnut and the hot dog. The doughnut is a circle floating thing that you put in the water and tie it to a boat then the boat takes off dragging you behind it, the hot dog is something that looks like a hot dog but actually isn’t. It can fit up to 3-4 people. There are rubber bars that you hang onto so you don’t fall off that easy. it is long and sausage shaped and you also tie it to a boat, i fell off but luckily i had a life-vest on. a cousin of mine water-skiing and didn’t fall off once! The water was really cold!

My Netball game on the weekend.

on the weekend i went to minninera to play netball for hawkesdale under 12s netball team. i played centre for the first 2 quarters, after the 2nd qaurter i sat off because i aws really puffed. iin the last qaurter i fell over 3 times. the third time i fell over i rolled my ankle and got carried off the court by loui. it really hurt i also got carried to the car by my dad.

education week

education week was coming up so our teacher thought that we should go and visit the local kinder garden and read books to the little kids there. i read to mary, nina and kate.

i spent the whole time there with mary except for when i was reading my book to the other kids.

i helped mary paint her cardboard house and played with lego and blocks we also played doctors. i would be the patient and she would be the doctor.

next year i will be in grade 6 and i am hoping that i will be mary’s buddy.

My earliest memory of Mum.. When she pushed me on the swing and i was wearing all pink.
My mother always tells me.. to go into my room and clean it up.
Her favourite food is…. i don’t know.?

At home she cooks.. everything.
In her spare time, she… reads a book, watches t.v or listens to music.
Mum’s special interest or hobby… clothes, she likes looking at clothes and she likes shopping.

She gets cross when… i hit or name call my brothers or sisters and they start crying.
When I shut my eyes, I see Mum.. ?
If I had money I would buy her… pyjamas,chocolate,ipod,ore money,more clothes basicly everthing that she wants.

diamond-our new webkinz

Today on the 29th of april grade 4/5 got a webkinz from canada. It is a polar bear and it’s name is Diamond. We also got letters, the reason why we got the webkinz is because we all have pen-pals in canada. Diamond is really soft.
